Saxophonists generally belong to a special class of musicians; they take care of the work in the premieres meticulously and are always ready to discover new repertoires. Personally I have been fortunate to work with some of the best saxophonists in Spain and I must admit that, of all the rehearsal sessions I have had with the members of the Octavia Saxophone Quartet, they have become a great experience at the highest level, a creative process between performers and composer from which highly fruitful ideas and musical experiences have always sprouted.
